The Mandate

The Organization

European Infrastructure Group is a pan-European infrastructure investor and operator with €9.2B of AuM across 14 portfolio companies. The group has backing from three sovereign wealth funds and two of Europe's leading pension funds. Its portfolio spans regulated utilities, transport assets, and increasingly energy transition and digital infrastructure.

Search Context

The current CEO is stepping down after eight years having successfully taken the group from €3.1B to €9.2B AuM and completed the group's recent €1.4B capital raise. The board is seeking a successor who can extend the group's ambition into new geographies and asset classes while maintaining its reputation for governance excellence.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

✦ Proven CEO or equivalent P&L leadership in infrastructure investment or operations

✦ Direct experience managing LP relationships and institutional investor reporting

✦ Track record of organizational leadership at >€5B enterprise scale

✦ Deep knowledge of European infrastructure regulatory environments

✦ Fluent English; additional European language strongly preferred
