The Mandate

Series C energy SaaS company building the AI layer for European grid operators. The CTO will own engineering, product architecture, and the technical roadmap through the next growth phase and anticipated IPO.

Founded in 2019, the company has grown to €38M ARR and 180 employees following a €95M Series C in 2025. Its platform is deployed in 9 countries and processes over 2 billion grid data points per day.

Search Context

The founding CTO is transitioning to a Chief Architect role to focus on deep research. The incoming CTO will take full engineering and platform ownership, manage a 90-person engineering organization, and lead Lumix through its IPO preparation in the 2027–2028 window.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

✦ Proven CEO or equivalent P&L leadership in infrastructure investment or operations

✦ Direct experience managing LP relationships and institutional investor reporting

✦ Track record of organizational leadership at >€5B enterprise scale

✦ Deep knowledge of European infrastructure regulatory environments

✦ Fluent English; additional European language strongly preferred
